Kolege iz Slovenije su nas upravo obavijestili da ovog petka, 30. studenog 2007., s početkom u 14:00, nizozemsko-izraelski venture kapitalist Yoav Leitersdorf drži predavanje u prostoru Tovarne podjemov, tehnološkog parka u Mariboru, Svetozarevska 6.

Yoav Andrew Leitersdorf is a technologist and serial entrepreneur who founded, grew and profitably sold three software startups before founding YL Ventures. YL Ventures is a venture capital fund that invests in European deep-technology startups within the Internet, telecom (mostly mobile) and digital media sectors. Unlike most other VCs, YL Ventures does not take companies through multiple rounds of financings in hopes of a big IPO or mega-sale many years in the future, but rather focuses on developing companies for 12-18 months to the point that they can be acquired by strategic corporations known to the fund, at medium-size valuations of approximately €20m-€40m.

YL Ventures je inače izrazio interes i za ulaganje u hrvatske tvrtke, a nakon Yoava predavat će dr. Stanko Blatnik, na temu “Zakaj je Silicijeva dolina svetovni center visoke tehnologije in kaj se lahko naučimo iz njihove zgodbe?”
